Oil prices fell slightly on Tuesday as weak Chinese demand offset supply disruptions from Tropical Storm Francine, while risks of a global oversupply continued to weigh on the market.
Brent crude futures fell four cents, or 0.06 percent, to $72.80 a barrel. West Texas Intermediate crude futures U.S. West Texas Intermediate crude futures lost 10 cents, or 0.15 percent, to $68.60 a barrel. Both benchmark crudes were up about 1 percent at settlement on Monday.
